I'm Levi Breederland.
You can pronounce my last name with English rules (though technically incorrect, I won't complain), which sounds like my forefathers ran a dog-breeding business, or the correct way with Dutch rules, bray-der-lawnd, which means “wider land” (“interesting” story, for a dad to tell, at least).
I was born and raised near Vancouver, Canada, and have lived in England and South Africa before ending up in Edmonton. My predominant cultural heritage is Dutch, and even though I was raised in Canada, I try to keep some of that sticking around. I have a decent understanding of the Dutch language and continue to improve it.
After attending various Protestant churches my entire life, I, along with my wife, joined the Catholic Church. You can read more about our journey here.
I spend the majority of my “working hours” standing behind a computer, usually building websites for clients of all shapes and sizes. I also coach people in their use of technology, and help with a myriad of other digital media projects. More about what services I offer can be found here.
While not working, I'm either writing (I tend to share my thoughts in short form on Twitter and Mastodon. Any idea that needs more permanence or is too long ends up here.), dabbling in analog photography, brewing kombucha, and of course, hanging out with my family.

This site was designed and developed by me. It's powered by Joomla!, and yes, that exclamation point is part of it's name. This will probably be the one place where I remembered to include it. It's hosted on a Vultr virtual server, which is my favourite way to host a website, if you have the know-how.
